With our LoanPay Xpress service, you can make a one-time or recurring payment to your MEMBERS1st Community Credit Union loan using a credit or debit card, or via ACH from a checking/savings account from another financial institution.

Is there a fee for this service?

  • No = when paying via ACH from a checking or savings account from another financial institution
  • Yes = when paying with a non-MEMBERS1st credit/debit card

Note: If you wish to make a loan payment to your MEMBERS1st loan using your MEMBERS1st checking or savings account, please login to ItsMe247 Online Banking and make a “transfer” to your loan rather than using the LoanPay Xpress service.

 

LoanPay Xpress Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to register?
No, however, not registering will result in absence of payment history on this site and only allows one-time payments. To establish payment history on this site or schedule recurring payments, you must register.

What is the benefit of registering?
Registering allows you to accumulate viewable payment history, manage pending payments, as well as the option to schedule recurring payments as allowed by MEMBERS1st CU.

What information do I need to register and make a payment?

  1. Loan account number and suffix
  2. Checking/savings account or credit/debit card from another institution to make your payment from
  3. The Primary Account Holder’s DOB.

Can I register to make payments if I am not the Primary Account Holder?
Yes – if you are the joint borrower, you do not have to be the primary on the account to initiate a payment.

What do I do if I cannot get logged in?
Use the ‘forgot username’ or ‘forgot password’ links on the sign in page.

Does paying through this site cost me money?
Members making payments from another financial’ s savings or checking via ACH pay nothing for the service. Members using their non-MEMBERS1st credit/debit cards will incur a fee for the service. Fees are assessed based on payment amount.

Can I pay any of my MEMBERS1st CU loans through LoanPay Xpress?
All loan types can be paid on through the LoanPay Xpress portal with the exception of first Mortgage Loans.

I registered – why can’t I make a payment?
Registering is not the final act to make a payment. Once registered, follow the workflow to add a loan account number, payment method, and schedule the payment.

What does ‘Account Not Found’ mean?
This message means one or both of the values entered do not match MEMBERS1st records. Please review your loan account number and suffix, and the entry for the Primary Account Holder’s DOB. Make sure the DOB is entered as YYYYMMDD. If you still cannot add your loan, please contact MEMBERS1st CU at payments@members1st.com/ or 641-752-1582.

When will my payment credit my loan?
While approval and authorization might be immediate, the payment may take up to two (2) business days to post to your loan.

Can I pay from my MEMBERS1st CU account(s) or card(s) on LoanPay Xpress?
LoanPay Xpress will not allow you to use your credit union accounts to pay your loan at the credit union and it is so smart that it will block you if you try. This is done most easily by making a transfer in It’sMe247 Online Banking or It’sMe247 Mobile banking.


What card types can I make payments from?

  1. Discover debit and credit cards
  2. Mastercard debit and credit cards
  3. Visa Debit cards
  4. American Express and Visa Credit are not applicable payment methods.

Securely Storing Credit Card Information
Safety protocols have been implemented to protect your data and keep your payments secure. If you are stopped on the ‘Securely Storing Credit Card Information’ message, re-attempt adding your payment method from a personal device and on your own network. This can be a smartphone, laptop, home-desktop computer, or tablet.

How long do I have to cancel a payment?
You may cancel a pending payment until 5:45p CT the business day before the chosen postdate. Note – weekends and Federal Holidays are not considered business days.

Can I change my payment date or amount once the payment is scheduled?
To edit the payment date, amount, or payment frequency, you will need to cancel the existing payment series and schedule another with the corrected information.

How late in the day can I make a payment for tomorrow?
Payments made before 6:00p CT will receive credit to their loan the following business day. Note – weekends and Federal Holidays are not considered business days.

What size of payment will LoanPay Xpress accept?
$5 to $5,000

Can I set payments up on a schedule?
LoanPay Xpress can be set up for recurring payments on a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly schedule.

How will I know if the payment is successful?
A confirmation email will be sent to you alerting you that a loan payment has been scheduled through LoanPay Xpress. Generally, it will take a couple of days to post to your loan account. It is best to watch for the final payment to be posted by monitoring your loan through It’sMe247.  If the payment is to post in the future, you will receive an email prior to the day it posts.  It is always a good idea to monitor your loan account for final confirmation the payment posted.
